Vibrant, hardy, and full of personality, the ORA Neon Dottyback is a truly stunning fish, showcasing electric blue and bright orange coloration that pops in any aquarium.
This species requires an aquarium of 30 gallons or larger, with plenty of live rock and caves to provide hiding places. Neon Dottybacks are curious, bold, and moderately territorial, making them best suited for tanks with other semi-aggressive to aggressive tank mates.
Keeping more than one dottyback is possible if the aquarium provides ample rockwork and hiding spaces. In some cases, adding multiple small individuals at the same time can even result in the formation of a spawning harem.
Diet: Readily accepts frozen mysis, brine shrimp, and other meaty foods.

While they may nip at very small ornamental shrimp, they usually leave corals and most other inverts alone. They are also known for helping reduce unwanted pests like bristle worms, making them a great addition to a pest-control-minded reef keeper’s system.
Pomacanthus zonipectus (Cortez Angelfish)
The Cortez Angelfish is a unique and eye-catching species native to the Eastern Pacific. While wild-caught specimens can be challenging to acclimate, these captive-bred juveniles are far better suited for life in home aquariums, offering improved hardiness and long-term success.
As juveniles, Cortez Angelfish display brilliant yellow and electric blue striations running along the body, making them exceptionally striking at smaller sizes. As they mature, this vibrant juvenile pattern gradually transitions into a more subdued green-blue adult coloration, highlighted by a bold yellow stripe extending over the gill plate.
This species is not reef safe. Cortez Angelfish are known to pick at corals and clam mantles and are best kept in fish-only or FOWLR systems where their natural behaviors won’t pose a risk to ornamental invertebrates.

Unlike many other dottybacks, P. fridmani is notably more peaceful, making it one of the more community-friendly choices within its genus. In fact, it can be a useful addition for helping control populations of unwanted pests like bristle worms.
Captive-bred by ORa, these dottybacks are weaned onto pellets and flakes, and readily accept frozen foods such as Mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and chopped seafood. They are hardy, reef safe, and well-suited to both small and larger aquariums with adequate rockwork and hiding spots.
