The Tiger Sand Conch, is an extremely capable scavenger that works hard to clean aquariums of algae and detritus. The Tiger Sand Conch will spend much of its time burrowed under a sandy substrate using its siphon to search for food – thus they should be kept in tanks with a sand bed as well as plenty of live rock. The Tiger Sand Conch is a very peaceful species and will only ultimately be beneficial to your tank.
